are you kidding??? that's real life? on the SAME planet that i live on????

I have wanted to come to Banff for so long. I remember the first time I saw a picture of it on the discover page on Instagram. The blueeee water mixed with the snow and fog of the mountains right behind it? ARE YOU SERIOUS. I had to see it for myself! It was just as amazing in person. I was nervous that my expectations were a bit too high. But that's the thing, I think it exceeds every single expectation possible. It was amazing. We were only there for a day, but it was such a solid day. My favorites:

Lake Louise (of course)
- Lake Louise Trailhead Cafe for lunch. yum
Lake Moraine (OF COURSE. pictured above)
Bear Street Tavern for dinner
- the godfather pizza- with oil and honey. SO GOOD
- the mac and cheese is also amazing

We didn't get to stay in Banff overnight, due to our last minute plans of going. Another reason I want to go back already. We stayed in Calgary and ate at OEB Breakfast the next morning. Highly recommended.
