We decided to come to Portland the day we went, at 6:00 in the morning haha. My mom and I aren't planners. We go with the flow and more often than not, end up doing things at very last second. At midnight the night before, we decided we would spend my Tuesday off of school at home or shopping. 6 hours later, she was waking me up and gave me 10 minutes until we had to leave to the airport. But i wouldn't have had it any other way
Multnomah Falls
We had 9 hours to fit in everything we wanted to do. And we did a pretty dang good job at it. First on my list was the famous Voodoo Doughnuts. I got the peanut butter oreo...it did not disappoint.
The next must on our list was seeing the waterfalls. There are SO MANY waterfalls in Portland it's amazing. And they are all so big. And most of them don't require much hiking, if any. We weren't dressed much for hiking and didn't have the time, so we didn't see as many as i would have liked to. Looks like we'll have to go again in the summer!
As it being so last minute, we didn't have many ideas what we were going to do. We rented a car at the airport, and asked the guy helping us what we should do in such short time. He told us to go to Portland City Grill. BEST RECOMMONDATION EVER. There was maybe two other people there. You can sit in a lounge right by giant windows that over look the city, and the food was delicious. SO FUN.
Other than that, we drove and walked through the city. I loved Portland and i can't wait to go back
